ABOUT ME
Here is a little about me and my journey to Dog-exercise.
I’m originally from St.Osyth just outside Colchester in Essex. My path led me to chose a career in Performing Arts and after leaving secondary school I was lucky enough to further my education at a full time Musical Theatre College for Three years. I embarked on my professional career immediately at Nineteen years old by travelling all over the world on the worlds finest Cruise lines visiting over Seventy Countries in five continents. At the grand old age of Twenty one I decided I wanted to come back and try my luck with London. After a couple of months I was lucky enough to land my first Musical in the Original UK tour “Saturday Night Fever” from then on I managed to consistently work in Musical productions in the West End and UK Tours for Eleven or so years. After Eight years of Musical theatre life I joined the cast of “Chicago” at the Cambridge Theatre, Covent Garden and in that cast met my amazingly talented wife to be Lisa and in 2009 we moved in together in Eltham. After a couple of years I managed to finally twist her arm so much that we became proud parents for the first time, we had a Cockerpoo!!! We found our pup “The Golden girl” Tilly. After making sure Tilly had plenty of Exercise come rain or shine it was very clear to me it was my favourite time of day, so as well as walks we set aside two afternoons a week to take Tilly to Obedience training. The satisfaction from this was quite overwhelming! some years went by and my work life had changed and I found myself stopping the musicals to concentrate on Acting for film. I was lucky enough to film on lots of projects but at the same time i had a day job (retail) which was gathering pace also and with this my work life took a different direction and found myself working more than i should have in the UK’s most Luxurious retail stores. During this time Lisa and I Married and soon after had our first “human” daughter called Avery and Three years after her the baby sister came along Brenie and just like that we were five strong! My work life was heavily towards the retail side of things becoming Business/Account manager, Employee trainer and looking after multiple stores including, Harrods, Selfridges (London, Birmingham and Manchester) and Fortnum and Mason. All of a sudden it didn’t feel like me. I desperately wanted a working change and after lengthy conversations with Lisa and a real understanding of how our family quality of life was changing I finally had the Gumption and Initiative to put the seeds of Dog-exercise in place. So Three Diplomas later and lots of safety qualifications we were ready to launch Dog-exercise and now my favourite time of day is all day.
We welcome everyone to the Dog-exercise family x
